Commenting on my posts - it's now a reality

It has come to my attention that it is difficult to make comments on my blog.
I checked the settings and realized that I had it on some stupid setting that made it hard to comment.
I have changed the setting, so I'd love for you to comment when you have thoughts.
I KNOW ya'll are reading the blog because I can see how many of you there are.
Thank you very much.

Sugarloaf, A Love Story

Hello and welcome to Kate’s Holiday Letter 2024!  Some of you may be new to this format, though I know many of you have received my letters in the past. If you like my holiday stories, be sure to let me know and you will keep receiving them. I do enjoy my one opportunity a year to share my writing and experiences with you guys. This year, I’m excited to share something very special with you. Things I love about Sydney - Part One of Infinity

Hi Guys, So I've spent a whole lot of time discussing how I feel about pregnancy and the first month of parenting, and let's just say I haven't had a lot of very positive things to say. However...that aside, I'd like to say that I *have* been listening to all those people who tell me to cherish these moments because they go by so fast.  And so I'd like to share with you my top favorite things about my tiny new daughter so far.  I've...

Reflections on the past 6 months, by Kate

Well, it’s been quite a while since I’ve written.  Now that I’ve been on vacation for one full week, I feel like my brain has calmed down enough to allow me the time and space to actually reflect.  Reflections on Weddings: Here is what I think.  I had every intention of being the best wedding planner of all time.  I mean, all I do at work is plan out projects and execute them, so how hard could it be?  The problem is that there is no practice for wedding planning.  Hopefully, you only ever plan for one wedding, so when you do it, it’s your first and last time.  I feel like my wedding was just about as perfect as it could have been.  I have no complaints.  However, in retrospect, there are many things I would change about the planning process itself.  Anyway, I don’t feel like doling out advice.  There are too many websites for that.  I will simply say the following things: 1) The Knot website is poorly designed and d...
